1. License
CardPing is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). By downloading or using CardPing you agree to its terms, together with the additional terms below.
2. What CardPing Is — and Is Not
CardPing is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It tracks activity dates that you enter and reminds you when a card may need a small transaction to stay active. CardPing does not connect to banks, does not process payments, does not make purchases on your behalf, and has no visibility into your real account activity.
- Bank policies are not guaranteed. Card issuers do not publish official inactivity policies, may apply different rules to different accounts, and may change or apply them at their sole discretion, including closing accounts for reasons unrelated to activity. Any typical timeframes referenced in the app are informational estimates only.
- You are responsible for your accounts. Reminders depend entirely on the accuracy of the dates you enter and on notification permissions you control. Following CardPing's reminders does not guarantee that any account will remain open, and Luys Labs LLC is not liable for account closures, lost credit lines, credit score changes, or any related losses.
- Not financial advice. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, credit, tax, or legal advice.
3. CardPing Pro Subscription
If and when an optional CardPing Pro subscription is offered:
- Current prices and periods are always shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device settings: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- Purchases, renewals, and refunds are processed entirely by Apple. For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Your Data and Backups
Your card records are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. Luys Labs LLC has no access to them and therefore cannot recover them for you. You are responsible for safeguarding your data and your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to circumvent subscription verification, or use CardPing in violation of applicable law or of your agreements with your card issuers.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of CardPing after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUYS LABS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LUYS LABS LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL BE DELIVERED, TIMELY, OR SUFFICIENT TO PREVENT ANY ACCOUNT ACTION BY A CARD ISSUER. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Luys Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including damages related to account closures or credit outcomes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Virginia.
