Kazna is a personal finance tracking app developed and published by Luys Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how Kazna handles information when you use our iOS mobile application ("the App").
We designed Kazna with a straightforward principle: your financial data is yours. All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your personal financial information.
Kazna requires no account creation, no registration, and no login of any kind. You do not provide us with an email address, username, or password. There is no Kazna account associated with your data — your information lives entirely on your device.
When you use Kazna, you may enter the following types of information directly into the App:
All of this information is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never transmitted to our servers, because we do not operate any.

Kazna supports optional iCloud synchronization powered by Apple's CloudKit framework. If iCloud is enabled on your device and you are signed into your Apple ID, your data may sync to your personal iCloud account. This synchronization is controlled entirely by your iOS settings.
Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/privacy. Luys Labs LLC does not have access to your iCloud account or any data stored within it.
If you contact us at support@luyslabs.com, we will receive and store the contents of your message and your email address. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact information with third parties.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, we use your information only to provide the App's features to you:
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App's features.
Your data is stored on your device using SwiftData, Apple's native data persistence framework. Receipt photos are stored in the App's local container. If iCloud sync is active on your device, your data is additionally replicated to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, under Apple's infrastructure and security controls.
We recommend the following to keep your data safe:
While we have designed the App to use Apple's secure frameworks, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data stored on your device or in your iCloud account. Your use of the App is at your own risk with respect to data security on your device.
If you delete the App, all locally stored data including transactions, budgets, categories, and receipt photos will be permanently deleted from your device. Data stored in your iCloud account will be subject to Apple's retention and deletion policies.
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect certain information in connection with your download and use of the App in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/privacy. The App also integrates with Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync, as described in Section 2.3. We have no control over and are not responsible for Apple's data practices.
Kazna uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions (Kazna Pro). When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives the following information from Apple on our behalf:
RevenueCat does not receive your financial transaction data, budgets, categories, or any other information you enter into Kazna. The data it processes is limited to verifying and managing your subscription entitlement.
The limited technical data RevenueCat receives (device platform, OS version, locale, and app version) corresponds to the "Diagnostic Data" disclosed in our App Store privacy label, and the anonymous subscriber identifier and receipt correspond to "Purchase History." All such data is not linked to your identity.
RevenueCat's data practices are governed by their Privacy Policy, available at revenuecat.com/privacy. Luys Labs LLC does not sell or share this subscription data with any other third parties.
Kazna is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, this applies equally to all users regardless of age.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since Kazna does not collect, sell, or share personal information, the CCPA's sale opt-out rights do not apply. For any privacy-related questions specific to your jurisdiction, please contact us.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because Luys Labs LLC does not collect or store any of your personal financial data on our servers, these rights are exercised directly on your device — you can edit or delete any data from within the App at any time, and you can export your complete transaction history via the CSV export feature in Settings. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUYS LABS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Luys Labs LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from App malfunction, device failure, iCloud service interruption, or any other cause outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Luys Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
We do not retain any of your financial data on our servers because we never receive it. Your data persists on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App entirely.
If you enable iCloud Backup on your iPhone, your App data may be included in those device backups and stored in your iCloud account per Apple's retention policies.
Support emails sent to us are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, after which they may be deleted at our discretion.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
If we make material changes, particularly if we begin collecting personal data or integrating new third-party services, we will notify you through a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
